Regardless of how much I create, there are only certain pieces that will ever feel “finished” to me. These are my important pieces, the ones that for sometimes unknown reasons are more meaningful than the others.
Sketchbook
Frequently the creation of something beautiful first requires allowing yourself the freedom to create utter trash. My sketchbook is my safe space to do just that. Sometimes things work out, frequently they don’t; but it is all an important part of the process.
Blog
Art is filled with interesting topics ranging from history and appreciation to processes and mediums. There is so much to learn, to understand, and for me the act of taking time to write helps me do just that. This Blog is a place for me to dive into art topics that I want to explore more fully.
